Switzerland, Le Sentier, 2012/2014

“As I was feeling less of a stranger and more as part of this place [Switzerland], that was now home to my mother, I gradually became more aware of my surroundings.

I was still not at ease with the fact that I was no longer “the daughter” that my mother dearly took care of everyday, I was still processing this new version of myself.

This journey translated into an unconscious search for specific settings, I felt drawn to images and locations that, somehow, spoke to me about loneliness.”
